The file is computed inside your browser and never uploaded. A lens prescription is the design. It is not something you can park on somebody else's server to analyse, so the whole computation happens in the browser. From the moment you drop the file, the data does not leave this computer.

What it shows

Layout · first-orderThe lens cross-section and the ray paths, with first-order quantities like focal length and F-number alongside.

Spot diagramReferenced to the chief ray at the reference wavelength; RMS is given as a centroid-based diameter.

MTFThe diffraction limit is drawn alongside, so you can see how much design margin is left. Through-focus runs ±5 to 50 µm.

Ray aberrationTangential (Y) εy against pupil Py on the left, sagittal (X) εx against Px on the right. Units are µm.

Field curvature · distortionAstigmatic field curves as a solid T and a dashed S, with distortion against both f·tanθ and f·θ.

Not a read-only viewer. Change a value in the table and it recomputes on the spot.

Surface dataEdit radius, thickness, glass and semi-diameter directly. Semi-diameter comes from CIR (a user aperture) or CODE V's default aperture.
